Swampscott architecturally eclectic estate is home to a treasure trove of eclectic collections and furnishings. From ruby glass, collectible & vintage toys, military items, costume jewelry, framed art and prints, glass decanters, vintage green glass, toby style pirate mugs to an antique cast iron kettle, there is something for everyone.
Furniture pieces throughout the house mirror the owner's taste for the varied. Shoppers will find classic items such as an ornate carved wood and upholstered arm chair, fluted leg dressing bench, several marble topped wood pedestal side tables, Empire style arm chair, Parson sofa/hall table, oak dressers and a small dining set with carved paw table legs.
On the contemporary side there is a very nice leather and wood tufted love seat and a very comfortable swivel arm chair, two beautifully upholstered, wood trimmed contemporary Empire style arm chairs, carved wood side table and a wonderful 50's style coffee and end table grouping that also has a side bar for cocktails.
Decorative items and accent pieces abound. Items of note include several gilt items - a starburst clock, mirror and accompanying wall shelf, framed fabric print with a nautical theme and a large bamboo motif mirror.
