Chestnut Hill Estate Sale

Saturday, June 7th, 2014, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 210 Beverly Road, Chestnut Hill, MA.

On June 7th the Precision Estate Sales Team is headed to a very nice Chestnut Hill abode. The house is filled with some very nice items - Mid-Century Furniture, we got it, Rugs & Runners, we got it, Smalls & Collectibles, we got it, Books, we got it, and the list goes on.

Let's get specific - Mid-Century Furniture - By Dixie we have two dressers, two desks & shelf units and two, 2 drawer bedside tables. A lovely and grand Bedroom Suite by Detroit Furniture that features a great armoire, dresser w/mirror and two bedside tables accented by two great lamps with floral-motif globes - these are a classic. Also within the master suite there is a great leather-topped writing desk by Tal-Enge Interiors and in the Dining Room is a smart-looking mid-century modern buffet that is paired with a great dining table with a set of wrought iron upholstered seat chairs, eclectic to say the least and some great finds for all our Mid-Century Mavens.

Still on the first floor and still in the dining room is a great china cabinet full of serving pieces, china collections, linens, glassware , silver-plate, etc. On to the kitchen featuring all the usual suspects - great kitchenware, glassware, flatware and cookware, as well a butcher block top trestle table with matching bench.

No Chestnut Hill home would be caught without two rooms for entertaining, one is a more formal traditional living room that features an elegant glass & brass sofa table, glass & brass free-form coffee table set upon a luxurious oriental rug with red, green and blue hues, an elegant sofa and loveseat set and a classic Louis XIV-style side chair. Here you'll also find two unique pieces - an Asian-inspired lacquered and painted cabinet and a petite glass and wood display cabinet full of great collectible items, as well as other desirable decorative items.

The intimate family room is set off by a cinnamon brown leather sofa and loveseat pairing. Once again another great rug upon which sets a burled wood pedestal coffee table in a rich brown tone and it is here where we find a fully-stocked Mid-Century inspired bar cabinet, barware and a ship's clock upon the mantel, as well as Panasonic HDTV set upon a glass and steel entertainment center. A very nice room.

Throughout this level and throughout the home as well there are plenty of attractive and unique decorative items: lamps, candlesticks, glass sculptures, vases, decorative boxes and accent pieces.

On the 2nd floor there are 3 bedrooms, two containing the already-highlighted Dixie and Detroit Furniture bedroom pieces. A young man's bedroom is outfitted with a classic knotty pine bedroom set that features a dresser, bedside table and a study center/desk unit, a brightly colored area rug, an old time pump handle that has been converted into a lamp and a kitschy 60's style upholstered arm chair with a swivel base.

There are also two small office spaces with desks, chairs, office supplies, books, a vintage set of Encyclopedias, more books, men's and women's clothes and linens. For those looking to get into shape there is a treadmill and Nordic Flex Ultra Lift Fitness Gym.

No PES sale would be complete without asking the question "what's in the basement?" Well for starters there is a vintage Victrola tucked away in a corner, a fully-stocked workbench with many hand tools, shelves fill with spillover household and kitchen items, some stored decorative items, a card table, etc.

All in all, it's the type of sale that we at PES love to do - providing our valued customers with a mix of unique and desirable items, hidden treasures, all at great prices which equals a day well-spent.

We look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday, June 7th in Chestnut Hill from 9:00AM till 3:00PM (numbers at 8:30AM, No sign-up sheet) - Sale address will be published on Friday, June 6th.

Beautiful Chestnut Hill Awaits!
